Random River Critters
The Osprey like our part of the river because it's so shallow -perfect for fishing. They fly over and hover looking down into the river for a catch. If they see one they'll rotate over and drop head first into the water. A pretty impressive sight for such a big bird.
This big male was just waiting.
Momma duck and her few day old babies.
She had nine to start out with.
