MOTU Microlite 5-in/5-out MIDI interface

I have two of these connected to the main recorder computer. Combined with the 2 MIDI in/outs on the ECHO AudioFire 12's I have a total of 12 MIDI ports with 192 available MIDI channels.

Some of the synths are wired in a traditional MIDI chain (out/thru) sharing a single MIDI port with each synth having a dedicated MIDI channel. These chained synths are controlled by either my D-50 or PC-88 through another port.

Other synths do not seem to play well with others in the chain or they have a set default MIDI channel. These live on their own MIDI port from one of the Microlites.
